Neighborhood Stops Schedule / Paradas en el Vecindario

Our Neighborhood Bus Stops provide an hour of academic enrichment to students right in their neighborhood. All students of all ages are welcome to join, but content is directed for K-5th grade students. Children younger than 5 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or adult.

Afterschool Programs
Our after-school programs provide enrichment activities in all academic areas, homework help, on-site tutoring, as well as promoting social emotional skills.

Family Engagement Events with Neighborhood Produce Markets
Our Family Engagement Events provide educational enrichment activities that will take place at neighborhood produce markets during October 2024. In collaboration with James Madison University’s College of Education, these produce markets offer educational activities for families & model age-appropriate activities to support parents/guardians in being full partners in their child’s education.

This fall, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank will be visiting numerous neighborhoods to provide families with free fresh produce! Please note that the Neighborhood Produce Markets may not always be aligned with Gus Bus stops.
