Kirk Weaver holds the position of Administrative Assistant to the Band Department. His interest in music began in middle and high school choir in San Angelo, Texas and continued as he performed with the Chamber Choir at Christopher Newport University. He graduated from CNU in 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. His previous work experience includes over 10 years in retail sales and management at Fortune 500 companies, as well as a position with the Division of Finance at JMU. Kirk enjoys attending musical performances, exploring the outdoors, and traveling with his wife Kendra, an Assistant Professor of Physics at JMU, and their three children. His hobbies include singing, painting, drawing, and reading.
