Spring 2025 auditions for the JMU Brass Band will take place Tuesday, January 21, 2025.- Audition excerpts can be found on www.jmubrassband.org
- Please pre-register your interest to audition on the band's website at www.jmubrassband.org.
- While not a requirement for the audition, you are strongly encouraged to audition on brass band specific instruments (soprano cornet, cornet, flugelhorn, tenor horn, baritone).
- Each audition will consist of 2 items:
- The Lark in the Clear Air - arr. Gordon Langford
- Excerpts from The World Rejoicing - Edward Gregson
- Audition selections should be prepared as a close to indicated tempi as possible (where indicated).
