Michael Peretich ('06)

News

-Michael Peretich will graduate from Madison with a resume in no need of padding. Mike has presented his neutron depth profiling research at two national conferences, has worked with Nobel laureates and has won the chemistry department's prestigious R.D. Cool Award. His research compares two types of charged particle detectors to determine their relative effectiveness for use in NDP, which in turn is used in analyses ranging from LCD screen glass to nuclear fusion reactor chamber wall linings. He plans to add a doctorate in the demanding field of physical chemistry to that resume. No matter what, expect this research whiz to keep the discoveries coming.
