The Schools of the Sun Belt Conference's Food Fight is a competitive food drive among schools that are part of the Sun Belt Conference. During the month of February, we will compete to see who can collect the most donations for bragging right. This year, confirmed competing schools include: JMU, App State, Marshall, Arkansas State, Troy, Southern Mississippi, Old Dominion, Coastal Carolina, and Georgia Southern.

Each school's contribution is based on a point system (described below) and points can only be added for donations that wouldn't typically be received throughout the year. Last year combined, participating schools collected a total of 33,000 items and over $60,000 in donations. 

This year, Off-Campus Life is partnering with Student Leadership and Involvement, Fraternity and Sorority Life, JMU Dining, UREC, and Annual Giving to bring awareness to the food drive during various events. The Pantry will also be one of the units recognized during Giving Day this year.

The Pantry is collecting the following items as part of the Schools of the SBC’s Food Drive: Food Fight! Each item on this list is worth 4 points, while anything else donated is 1 point. Don’t have any items to donate? Every $1 donated is worth 2 points. The school with the most points wins, so please donate and show your school spirit this February!
