Sandy started her JMU career in 2018 as an administrative professional in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies and moved to the Office of Research, Economic Development and Innovation (REDI) in April 2019. In this role, she supports the Vice Provost of Research, Economic Development and Innovation and the units within the REDI structure. While at JMU, she has furthered her career goals by taking professional development classes, recently completing the Administrative Assistant Certificate Program (AACP). Her training has enabled her to contribute to REDI’s goal to serve and support faculty and student academic endeavors.

As an administrative professional, Sandy schedules appointments and coordinates event logistics, providing critical support services for the unit. These duties include ordering supplies, reconciling accounts, making travel arrangements, and working on special projects.
