The Office of Research Development encourages mentorship and collaboration between JMU Researchers. 

Mentorship: To facilitate knowledge transfer, we are developing a database of first-time grant-writers and experienced grant-funded researchers willing to engage in mentorship.  We plan to begin pairing mentors and mentees in October 2024.

Collaboration: The Office of Research Development is establishing a database of researchers seeking collaborators for multi-disciplinary/inter-disciplinary convergence grants.
