Iota Iota Iota (Triota)
Triota is the national honor society for the field of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. As an academic honors society, it supports scholarship and excellence in WGSS. Triota also fosters feminist community at JMU. WGSS minors and students who meet the following criteria may apply:
- Have at least second semester standing
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Have completed WGSS 200, SOCI/WGSS 337, or QUST 200
- Have a WGSS faculty member who supports their candidacy
- Submit a JMU transcript (unofficial)
