The Integrative Arts Teaching Artistry Assistant will play an active role in the creative and educational mission of the Office of Creative Propulsion. This role supports the Lead Teaching Artist in developing and facilitating arts-engaged workshops for diverse audiences.
The Office of Creative Propulsion seeks undergraduate students (any major) to develop and co-facilitate arts-centered interdisciplinary workshops on an as-needed basis. Teaching Artistry Assistants will receive an orientation and training with lead Teaching Artist(s) prior to being assigned to a workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Lead Teaching Artists to design and conduct interdisciplinary workshops that creatively explore and interpret various works of art.
- Engage participants through hands-on, arts-based activities that encourage personal connection with the exhibition themes and artworks.
- Support the logistical aspects of workshop delivery, including material preparation, setup, and clean-up.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all workshop participants.
- Assist in evaluating workshop outcomes and gathering participant feedback to enhance future programming.
