CARS Faculty/Assessment Specialist Role:
Yu Bao oversees the program assessment support services (PASS) in the Center for Assessment and Research Studies (CARS). Within the team, Yu Bao and four graduate students in Assessment and Measurement program work to support the university’s assessment efforts by evaluating program-level assessment reports, providing assessment consultation services, participating assessment activities for Academic Program Reviews for academic and certificate programs at JMU, as well as organizing rater training workshops for JMU faculties as professional development opportunities. In addition to Yu’s work in CARS, she also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Graduate Psychology.
