As a new student in the JMU's Biotechnology Program, you probably have a lot of questions about academics and campus life. What if you were paired with a fellow biotechnology student or alum who is ready to answer your questions, share their advice, help navigate you through your challenges, and inspire you to succeed?
Introducing the College of Integrated Science and Engineering (CISE) Mentor Collective – an exciting new peer-to-peer mentoring program that will prepare you for success in our Biotechnology Program.
So, how does it work?
Find a Mentor
We will carefully match you with a CISE student mentor or alum who aligns with your interests, background, academics, and professional goals. They will be there to answer any questions you may have about academics, student organizations, and our campus community. Keep in mind, our mentors were once new students themselves, and they are excited to share their experiences and warmly welcome you to JMU!
To get started, register and tell us a little about yourself. Your personal mentor will connect with you via text, phone, email, virtually, or in person!
