Laura began working in the JMU Admissions office in 1997 after receiving her B.A. in English from Elon University. In 2003, she joined the dean’s office, where she works closely with the associate deans to coordinate college suspension and probation, the Faculty Assistance Committee and pre-law students. Laura also works with the Madison Award for Excellence scholarships.

Laura is one of the caretakers of the famous and furry Quad Cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and following Duke basketball.
