Modern European Studies minors are encouraged (but not required) to take advantage of the many study abroad programs JMU has to offer. The Center for Global Engagement offers opportunities for semester or short-term study abroad in a number of European locales. Of particular note in this regard are the semester abroad programs in Florence, London, and Salamanca, which routinely offer many courses that count toward the MES minor.
