¡Bienvenidos/as a Spain!
Welcome to the Semester in Spain program! On these web pages, you will find extensive resources for students and parents interested in our program.
In the Spain program, you will have the opportunity to experience the cultural richness of Salamanca as the activities organized throughout the semester complement the material taught in the classroom. Art, history, and literature come alive when you can study first-hand the works that once were only names in a textbook.
Fall and Summer semesters offer a language immersion opportunity with courses taught in Spanish. For more information on course offerings, see the Academics page.
Spring semester is a special term designed for students seeking to complete General Education coursework. The spring semester is designed for first-years and sophomores, but students of all class levels may apply. Enrolled students will select four of the six general education courses offered, an elementary or intermediate Spanish course, and UNST 390 for a total of 16 credit hours. All courses are taught in English during the spring semester.
Internships are available in a variety of fields, and throughout all SIS terms. For specifics, see the Academics page.
