The James Madison University Praxis testing site is located in the Assessment & Testing Center on the ground floor of Gabbin Hall. Please note this change of location.

We offer testing on Saturdays monthly. Please remember that not all tests are offered on all testing dates. Go to the ETS website for further information and to register at http://www.ets.org/praxis.

PLEASE NOTE: On the ETS website you may not be able to register for any dates beyond 90 days from when you access their website. You may be able to register for a date beyond that by calling ETS at 1-800-772-9476.

Start time of the testing is 10:00 am. However, you are required to report to the test center 30 minutes prior to the start time for check-in. You may report up to 60 minutes prior to the start time and begin your testing immediately after check-in. Check-in begins promptly at 9:00 am.

PLEASE NOTE: Praxis winter administrations may be canceled if inclement weather is forecast. Please plan accordingly.

Praxis testing is administered in the Assessment and Testing Center located on the ground floor of Gabbin Hall (indicated by a red star below).

Parking is available in the Warsaw Parking Deck, Mason Street Parking Deck, or Grace Street Parking Deck (indicated in light blue below).

Accessible parking is available in A Lot behind Gabbin Hall.
