Pre-Departure Orientation
To prepare students to make the most of their experience in this program, our program provides a set of monthly, virtual meetings on different topics relevant to the program:
- MAY: Visa preparation guidance & program overview
- JUNE: Meeting with program staff about life in Florence
- JULY: Brief policy writing exercise & career goals one-on-one meetings with the director
- AUGUST: Meeting with program graduates about making the most of the program
On-Site Orientation
Upon students' arrival, on-site staff work with staff in a series of meetings and conversations over the first two weeks to help them "move to Florence" both personally and academically.
