Daniela Chironi holds a PhD in comparative political sociology from the European University Institute (EUI) in Fiesole, Florence. She is Research Fellow in Political and Social Sciences at the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS), and member of the "Centre on Social Movement Studies" (COSMOS) in Florence (Italy). She has published articles on social movements, political parties and the political consequences of economic inequalities.
