Gianni Del Panta is a post-doctoral research fellow at Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence. His main research interests focus on regime change, autocracies, and mobilization from below. He has been a visiting scholar at the Center for Advanced Studies of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität of Munich, at the University of Carthage, at the University of Frankfurt, at the American University of Cairo, and at the University of St. Andrews. Dr. Del Panta has published in international journals such as Government and Opposition and Democratization.
