2025 ARC Conference Banner

The 2025 Day of Community Conversations will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2025 in Rose Library. 

For each concurrent session during the Day of Community Conversations we will be using a consistent facilitation format. Each session will include:  

  1. Introductions 
  2. Presentation of content/examples 
  3. Facilitated discussion activities 
  4. Wrap up 

Proposal submissions should include: 

  • Facilitator(s) 
  • Primary Contact
  • Title of Session 
  • 2-3 Learning Objectives 
  • Short Session Description 
  • Proposed outline of session, including discussion questions/activity 
  • Conference Tracks: please select the two tracks that you believe represent your presentation. (The conference committee will determine if or how we communicate the tracks to attendees based on the proposals we receive.)  
    • Connecting (initiating relationships) with students and partners
    • Sustaining relationships with students and partners
    • Advocating for and elvaluting the role of advising through relationships
    • Connecting and building strong relationships among advisors
    • Using technology in relationship building and advocay
  • Indicate who would benefit most from session topic:
    • Beginning - Foundational/basic skills intended for those who are new to advising
    • Intermediate - For those looking to add additional concepts or skills to their advising toolbox
    • Advanced - In-depth exploration of topics that requires application of advising experience
  • Day-of Availability 
    • Please indicate if there are any times of the conference schedule you are unavailable.
