The office of Pre-Professional Health (PPH) Advising serves all JMU undergraduates and alumni pursuing a career in the health professions field. Choosing a career in the health field is a noble yet challenging pursuit. We are here to assist as you explore, prepare, and plan the path toward your next step of admission to health professions school.
The PPH Advising team aims to provide students with the information and support necessary to establish meaningful academic and personal plan for launching a career in the health professions. Our goal is for students to become successful applicants who demonstrate compassion, leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to academic success throughout their journey at JMU and toward their health professions career.
