John Scherpereel serves as coordinator for the American and Global Perspectives area of the General Education program. He is also Professor of Political Science, president of JMU’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, and coordinator of JMU’s Modern European Studies minor program. His research focuses on executive politics, territorial politics, political representation, and European politics.
