The Adult Education/Human Resource Development program application opens on October 1 and closes on July 1. Beginning December 1, admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis. If the program reaches capacity, a waitlist may be used.

Applicants from outside North America and Europe are encouraged to apply by December 1 to allow sufficient time for obtaining the necessary travel and visa documents to study in the US. Similarly, applicants seeking graduate assistantships are encourage to apply by December 1 to have full consideration for positions.

Fall 

Unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions should be uploaded with your electronic application and may be used for departmental admission review purposes. If offered admission, you will be directed and required to submit to the JMU Graduate School an official transcript from any institution from which a degree has been awarded to finalize your admission. Transcripts are considered official if they are sent to JMU directly from the issuing institution.
