Andrea Martinez Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor at the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University. Her research focuses on persuasion in the context of strategic environmental and health communication. Specifically, she uses persuasion theories to understand how individuals process environmental and health information to evaluate and design strategic communication. Additionally, she has experience teaching courses in communication, health, and the environment.
