Dr. González is an assistant professor of history. She specializes in Chicana/Latina with an emphasis on social movements, politics, and women & gender. Her currently working on her book manuscript-in-progress, “Representation of Change: How Chicanas Reshaped the American Political Process in the Late Twentieth Century,” which examines how Chicanas changed the political landscape for themselves and their community in Texas.
