Rob is responsible for creating and implementing transition programs that successfully acclimate new students to the JMU Community. In collaboration with campus partners and the Harrisonburg community, most of his work involves overseeing Weeks of Welcome, which fosters positive and transformative experiences for new students as they begin their journey at JMU. He focuses on creating a welcoming community and supportive environment for all students. Rob graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services. Rob received his Master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He enjoys cooking, food trucks, going to sporting events, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks or hikes with his wife, Amanda, and dogs, Bailey and Jersey.
