Casey is responsible for creating and implementing the vision for new student transition programs that successfully acclimate new students to the JMU community. Much of her work involves oversight of the department, supporting and advocating for the Orientation staff and new students, fostering collaborative working relationships across campus and within the Harrisonburg community and creating a positive work environment for current JMU students who help the department implement programs and services. She graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Casey received her Master's degree in Sports Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. She enjoys photography and being outdoors. Casey likes to travel and spend time with her husband, Chris, two sons, Wyatt and Ethan and daughter, Abbie.
