Student life invites you to nominate faculty, staff, students for an All Together One Award – any member of the JMU community is eligible to nominate or be nominated for the 2025 All Together One Awards. Multiple nominators are welcomed to collaborate on a single submission.  Five award recipients are selected each year.

Nominations should thoroughly describe how the nominee embodies the following six qualities that comprise the “all together one” spirit at JMU.

  1. building community
  2. inspiring others
  3. a caring attitude
  4. a dedication to learning
  5. a commitment to working together (collaboration)
  6. unique contributions of the nominee
Information for Nominators
  • Nominations should be uploaded in a .docx format through the All Together One Nomination Form.
  • Submissions should be no more than 2500 words.
  • Nominators of award recipients will be asked to attend the All Together One Ceremony and read on behalf of their recipient.

Once submitted, nominations are reviewed by a committee of student leaders across a variety of student organizations.

Timeline & Deadlines

1/27/2025 – Nomination Form Opens

2/19/2025 – Nomination Form Closes at 11:55pm

3/7/2025 - 3/10/2025 – Nominators are notified if their nominee is selected

3/24/2025 - 3/28/2025 – Winners are publicly announced

4/1/2025 – All Together One Awards Ceremony, Warner Commons, 12:00pm – 1:00pm
