When is my annual report due?
Suggested target dates: (VPs and AVP/Deans may adjust the due dates as needed.)
- Academic Units/Departments: July 10
- Deans/AVPs: July 24
- Vice Presidents: August 7
When are objectives due?
- 2026-27 objectives (fields 1-.4) should already be in Programs. You will report on Objective Accomplishments and Use of Results in July, 2027.
- 2027-28 objectives should be developed and entered in the JMU-STAR tool by July 2027 or by the beginning of Fall 2027 semester.
What is the purpose of the JMU-STAR Tool?
The JMU-STAR Tool:
- Provides valuable information to areas of the university community, such as using information from annual reports to support institutional initiatives.
- Helps JMU demonstrate compliance with our Institutional Accreditor, SACSCOC, in multiple standards.
- Provides a transparent system of planning and reporting.
- Assists compliance with JMU Policy 5001: Annual Planning Policy
