Why I want to serve on the Task Force:
Both as an instructor in classroom and as a faculty senate member, I have realized we need to make significant efforts to change overall culture of racial discrimination in our society including JMU community.
Top three values I bring to this work:
Racial equity as fundamental human rights
Non-descrimination as a foundational factor of democracy
Racial/ethnic justice for protection of minorities
