Description
Duties:
JMU faculty family looking for an after-school care provider for our 19-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. Thursdays 2:30-5 PM. Job would begin 1/23 and continue until the end of the spring semester. You would pick him up at his school at 2:30 and bring him home which is a 5 minute drive and stay with him until we get home at 5. Our home is right outside of Harrisonburg off of 33E, 1-mile past Martin’s grocery store. Our son enjoys riding in the car, playing games and listening to music.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is:- Fun and energetic, Calm and patient.
- Able to engage our son in fun activities like board games.
- Willing to complete a criminal background check.
- Clean driving record-CPR/First Aid certified or willing to certify (we will pay for it).
- We additionally provide money to pay for all activities for you and our son during the time you are working
