Hello, I’m Isaac Chenoweth (he/they), and I am a senior conducting an Independent Study in Multilingual Scholarly Writing, with a minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications. I’m a bilingual French speaker and avid chess player with unmatched curiosity; learning, writing, and teaching are my sleeping, eating, and breathing! I’m honored to hold a role at RhetTech, and I’m dedicated to our mutual growth as an interdisciplinary team.

When I am not writing and studying, I like to spend my free time reading, painting, taking walks, and spending time with my friends. Though when I am home, I spend extra time with my dog Ayvah. This is my first year with Rhet Tech - I’m very excited to read a variety of writings from just as diverse students from all around the world! You can usually find me listening to vinyls, scrapbooking, or at the farmer’s market. But I most love anything that involves being in nature, especially hiking and camping!

Professor Johnson began advising RhetTech Journal in Fall 2023 and has discovered what a joy it is to work with students who are devoted to fonts, design, copyediting, marketing, branding, and all the other aspects of putting together a publication. She loves empowering students to build on their strengths and enjoy their work.
