Rhetorics of health, wellness, and disability; science and medical writing; digital and visual rhetoric; usability and user experience; technical communication and social justice

Dr. Stambler's current research focuses on health and wellness rhetorics, with a focus on ableism, health disparities, literacies, and justice. Her scholarship and teaching approach writing and rhetoric by focusing on how texts mediate and circulate power and how, in turn, we can use writing for advocacy and change.
