All career advising staff within the University Career Center are generalists and can meet with any JMU student across all majors to discuss and provide guidance on various topics: career ideas, resumes, interviews, job search, internships, graduate schools, networking, and more.
Some Career Advisors also serve as designated liaisons who work closely with specific colleges and programs at JMU by partnering with faculty and staff to provide helpful career information to students, give presentations, co-host events, organize customized workshops, and provide any support with regards to relevant career content for each major, department, school, or office.
