The College of Health and Behavioral Studies places a high value on partnerships with the community. JMU-RMH Collaborative

The primary function of the James Madison University-Rockingham Memorial Hospital (JMU-RMH) Collaborative is to foster innovative initiatives that involve members of both organizations, resulting in new ways for the two organizations to work together. The partnership encourages JMU faculty and RMH employees in all disciplines and specialties to engage in cooperative projects.

McMillin Center for Sport Psychology

This center offers clinics for parents, coaches and athletes, and it supports athletes in their quest for personal and performance excellence. The center offers students studying in related academic fields such as psychology and kinesiology an opportunity for hands-on, clinical experiences in sport psychology.

Morrison-Bruce Center for Promotion of Physical Activity for Girls and Women

The Morrison-Bruce Center develops and provides physical activity programming for girls and women, and research conducted through the center enhances the understanding of the impact of an active lifestyle on women's health.

Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services

IIHHS engages students in career preparation by promoting scholarship, providing interprofessional learning experiences, and connecting our campus with communities through innovative programs that advance quality of life. Read more about IIHHS
