All F visa holders are required, by your immigration status, to register with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This is done by completing the SEVIS Registration Report through the online Terra Dotta system. It is mandatory that you complete the SEVIS Registration EVERY semester, as failure to comply could cause your immigration status to be terminated. The deadline for registration for the Fall Semester is September 15th, and the deadline for registration for the Spring Semester is January 31st.
