International Faculty/Staff Groups
The Center for Global Engagement is committed to creating a welcoming community for our many international faculty and staff. Beyond the immigration regulations, connecting our many international faculty and staff to each other and the JMU community is foundationally to a welcoming and supportive global community. In partnership with the Center for Faculty Innovations , and our many active global community members, we host a number of activities and events throughout the year. Please subscribe yourself to our listserv, so you can be invited to hosted events.
The ISSS web site has a list of resources that might be of assistance to your adjustment to the JMU community. In addition, the JMU Human Resources department offers a range of support including services through the Dual Career and Community Resources Program to help new international faculty and their families who are moving to the area.
