Joining the Recruitment and Employment Services Team in 2022, Katie works as a Recruitment Specialist. In this role, she consults with hiring managers to create unique and effective recruitment techniques for both staff and faculty positions. Additionally, she works with the department's outreach strategies, creating and maintaining crucial relationships with organizations throughout the community.

Katie has previously worked in Human Resources in the healthcare sector as well as in Economic Development in the local government sector. She received a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies and an M.A. in Public Administration both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
