Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.

- Founded January 13, 1913 by 22 founding members at Howard University
- Colors are crimson and cream
- Symbol is Fortitude

Back to School Cookout
The day before classes begin all students, old an new, are invited to a public park in Harrisonburg for a free cookout, promoting fellowship amongst all.
Unity Cook-off
Each spring various student organizations on campus are invited to show off their culinary skills by creating specified dishes with their organizations colors, to be judged by a panel.
