Olivia Booker is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer whose work has been featured at numerous international film festivals and online platforms, including PBS Reel South, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, AFI Docs, and Glasgow Short Film Festival, among others.  

She recently completed a practice-based PhD at the University of St Andrews in Scotland focusing her thesis on environmental film with an emphasis on coastal ecosystems. Olivia also holds an M.F.A. in Documentary Film from Stanford University and a B.A. in Studio Art from Davidson College.

Previously Olivia worked as a freelance cinematographer and camera assistant in New York City and served as the festival assistant for the Sands International Film Festival of St Andrews. Her research interests include ecocinema and experimental documentary.
