Chen Guo received her Ph.D. degree of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University. Chen’s research focuses on interaction design, user experience analysis, visual analytics, and digital media. She has conducted a lot of interdisciplinary and international research in designing, developing, and evaluating novel and interactive systems from a human-centered approach. Apart from winning the Sponsor’s Award for Novel Visualization in IEEE VAST challenge system design and First Runner-up in NordiCHI 2014 Student Design Competition, Chen has built up a publication list ranging from journals, conference proceedings, and poster presentations in the interdisciplinary domains of interaction Design, information design, and Human-computer Interaction.
