Why Should You Attend?
Administrative Assistants provide critical support services to every department on the JMU campus. This program will ensure that critical areas of responsibility are documented and explained and will provide a means to network with peers, receive expert information on your unique responsibilities and develop competencies that enhance your abilities.

Here are the steps to get you started:
- Step One: Complete and return the Notice of Intent to Participate Form
- Step Two: Register for (TD2277) AACP: Ready, Set, Go! Bring your Notice of Intent to Participate Form with you to TD2277 if it has not yet been submitted.
- Step Three: Register for and attend the courses in the AACP Workshop List
- Step Four: Use the AACP Course Tracking Sheet to track your progress.
- Step Five: Once you have completed all of the required courses, please submit your tracking sheet to Talent Development, MSC 5808 or td@jmu.edu
Forms
The AACP is designed to be completed within three years. Tracking sheets and materials are due by the deadline set by Talent Development (typically December). Some workshops may need to be repeated if they are not attended within the three year timeframe in order to receive a certificate.
