Description:

Building a strong team matters. In a world where remote work has become more common, accomplishing that goal can be challenging... but is doable with willingness, communication, and empathy.

In this session, we will share ideas for "gathering around the virtual water cooler", a phrase that is being used by those successful teams who have found a way to build engaged, successful teams with strong relationships, in spite of their physical locations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the challenges associated with building teams with remote employees.
  • Identify strategies for overcoming the applicable challenges.
  • Practice remote team building activities.
