Description:

The first action step to inclusive interaction with others is developing a strong sense of self. This workshop will provide an opportunity to understand the complexity of identity and reflect on how our own held identities influence our interactions with others, coworkers, friends, mentees, supervisees. Understanding ourselves, and the creation of our own identity, can help inform the development of relationships. Identity work takes courage, and this brave space will empower the creation of a stronger sense of self.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the difference between social and personal identities
  • Explore how identities influence the development of relationships
