The Clery Act is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics, ensure campus safety, and provide timely warnings about crimes that pose a threat to students and employees. As part of our commitment to creating a safe and supportive campus environment, it is essential that all Program, Event, and Camp (PEC) Tier I staff members understand their roles in complying with this important law.

Why This Training is Important for PEC Tier I Staff:

As a Tier I staff member, you play a critical role in supporting the safety and well-being of our campus community. This training will ensure that you are equipped to:

  • Identify and report criminal incidents and safety concerns accurately
  • Understand the Clery Act’s requirements for campus crime reporting and disclosure
  • Contribute to the campus’s overall safety efforts and help protect our minors

By completing this training, you will help ensure that our institution remains compliant with federal regulations, fosters a safer campus, and provides transparency for the entire campus community.

PEC Tier I staff are required to complete this training and achieve a 100% score. Please use the link below to watch a short video and take the CSA quiz.
