The Core Curriculum Appraisal Task Force (CCATF) facilitates and supports faculty and other stakeholder engagement with the renewal of JMU's general education curriculum. The links and information below provide more details about the Task Force's work and you may view the relevant principles for general education document as well. If you would like to view general education requirements at other universities, you may go to this spreadsheet. To contact the CCATF, please email us. This group meets bi-weekly during the academic year. Below is a link to a survey where faculty may submit their GenEd ideas; to view survey questions before clicking the link, you may view this document. Two sessions are also being offered for faculty to discuss their ideas with CCATF members, the dates and times are noted below.
