2024 Harrisonburg Solar Tour
October 5th, 2024 1pm-4pm.
Learn about solar energy straight from the source! Join your neighbors who are harnessing the sun's energy at this FREE community event.
Meet us at JMU’s East Campus Hillside for a tour of the first university solar array in Virginia to receive Pollinator-Smart Certification. From there, carpool in electric vehicles to meet homeowners and tour local solar-powered homes. We plan to have the tour wrap up back at JMU at 4pm.
If you are interested in attending this tour, let us know you're coming by September 29th.
If you are interested in showcasing your home on this Harrisonburg tour, submit to showcase by September 22nd. CASE will choose 3-4 homes to showcase on our tour, depending on an appropriate driving route.
We encourage all home and businesses owners who have solar to register as a site on the ASES Solar Map, regardless if you want to showcase your home in person. Harrisonburg is home to so much solar- let's light up this map to reflect that! Learn how to register here.
