Agnes Choi joined the CGE in August 2007 and is currently serving as the Enrollment Manager. She earned her B.S. degree in Computer Science & Statistics. After graduation, she worked for two companies in Seoul for five years as a computer programmer.

Since 1988 she lived in the West Coast and Midwest. She received her second bachelor's degree in Computerized Health Service Administration from James Madison University in August 2009. More work experience and continued studying led her to join the CGE.

Agnes maintains the Terra Dotta System, facilitates the study abroad application processing in Semester, Short-term, and Graduate Programs, and assists the students, program directors, and on-site staff. She handles the study abroad lists to JMU SA System for students’ course enrollment and keeps historical data, handles the program fee charges, and oversees and takes care of various clerical transactions of the study abroad participants.

She wants to provide better assistance for the students, parents, and JMU community. She is hopeful to see the students’ transformative learning throughout their study abroad experiences. Agnes hopes that the JMU students returning from study abroad can be part of a future generation helping our world to be a better and safer place to live.
