After graduating from Luther College with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, Zack worked in creative media for over a decade. Most of that time was spent in Washington, DC at the Brookings Institution, and the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, TX. He moved to Harrisonburg in 2018 and served as the Associate Creative Director at the nascent Downtown Creative.
Zack has a reputation for developing and executing creative strategies across various platforms. His diverse skill set encompasses video production, photography, design, and digital marketing. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of creative principles, Zack consistently brings innovative solutions to his projects. Though he specializes in creative production, he is also an FAA licensed drone pilot.
When Zack isn't hard at work, you'll often find him indulging in his two beloved hobbies: playing tennis and gardening. On the tennis court, he’s a life-long enthusiast who will never turn down a friendly match. He is currently serving on the board of the Harrisonburg Tennis Patrons. Off the court, Zack finds solace in his garden, which he makes sure to bring up at least once in every conversation.
Last, but certainly not least, Zack loves spending time with his family: his wife Gretchen, son Simon, and dog Nova.
