Sheikh Salman joined the Center for Global Engagement in 2024. He previously served as a Graduate Assistant in the College of Education from August 2023 to May 2024 and as an Office Assistant during the summer. In his current role as Finance Graduate Assistant, Sheikh develops and manages financial procedures and budgets for JMU’s international programs, ensuring compliance with university and state policies. He also provides strategic direction in budget formulation and serves as the primary contact for financial logistics and policies for study abroad programs.

Before JMU, Sheikh was a Senior Executive at Zong (China Mobile Pakistan), specializing in financial analysis for over nine years. He led the financial wing of the Engineering Department and supported its cross-functional team.

Passionate about traveling and exploring cultures, Sheikh loves his profession and aims to advance in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis at JMU CGE. He joined the organization to gain new experiences and broaden his horizons in a non-profit setting.
