Overview
If you decide to continue your academic career path (e.g. from Undergraduate to Masters, Masters to Doctoral, etc.) at JMU, please inform ISSS so that we can work with you to change the Educational Level on your I-20 to reflect your new degree program. Like most immigration procedures, timing will be important. Therefore, let ISSS know as soon as you have applied to one of JMU's graduate programs. Once you have been accepted, you will need to complete the Change of Education Level application in Terra Dotta.
If you wish to continue your academic career path (e.g. from Undergraduate to Masters, Masters to Doctoral, etc.) at another US university, please follow the guidelines for Transferring Out of JMU.
